What

Building a real-time flight map with Azure Functions, CosmosDB and SignalR

In this presentation we will be taking a look at what it takes to build a (near) real-time flight tracker app that leverages several Azure technologies. We will start by creating several Azure Functions that make use of various bindings and triggers including Http Triggers, Timer Triggers, CosmosDB Bindings and Triggers and SignalR Bindings. We will then provision a CosmosDB instance and a SignalR Service to facilitate the flow of real time data updates to a simple front end web app.
