Gitting Good with Git
Many of us use git for our day to day work, but do we really know whats going on? Today we will peek under the hood and get an idea of how git works under the covers. By understanding some of the git internals, we will be better equipped to recover when things go wrong (hello merge hell). No matter if you’re a beginner or an expert, there will be something you can use to improve your workflow.
It's going to be a practical demo (no slides!), so feel free to bring along a laptop and follow along. Alternatively, sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.

I was going to show off some of my git aliases but forgot. I stole them all off Phil Haack anyway. There is a good write up of them here: https://haacked.com/archive/2014/07/28/github-flow-aliases/
