A Journey into Azure Machine Learning.

Machine learning provides a facility for companies and governments and not-for-profits companies to replace guesses with a valuable data driven predictive analysis. Azure Machine Learning is valuable tools that can be employed by all data scientist with different skill levels.

In this session, a brief description about the azure machine learning, algorithms selection, importing data from different resources, creating web service, using the created web service in a .net project, calling the web service from Excel files will be presented. Audience will learn how a Microsoft Azure Machine Learning solution comes to life: From the creation of a work space, to the preparation of data, to experimentation with machine learning algorithms, choose the right algorithm, and then finally to the integration of predictive insights.

Leila is a senior Microsoft BI and analytics consultant in Theta. She has over 10 years’ experience working with databases and software systems. She is PhD and Lecturer in Information System from University of Auckland. Leila is an international speaker who made presentations at many Microsoft BI conferences including Microsoft NZ Ignite, PASS Business Analytics (San Jose), PASS 24 Hours, PASS SQLRally (Copenhagen) , Microsoft Auckland CodeCamp, Microsoft Christchurch Code Camp, SQL Saturdays in Auckland, Christchurch, Vienna, Oregon, Melbourne, Sydney, andBrisbane on Microsoft Machine Learning, R, and Power BI.
