Garden Genie, a New Zealand start-up was born

In this session, you will hear the story of how Garden Genie, a New Zealand start-up was born.

Garden Genie is a mobile application and was the Auckland 2013 Start-up Weekend winner. The team then represented New Zealand on a global stage, beating stiff competition globally in the Global Start-up Battle (200 countries, 20,000 teams).

The prize included a trip to Austin, Texas to attend SXSW (South by South West) and mentorship opportunities with the BigCommerce executive team based in Austin.
