What

Getting Started with TypeScript

TypeScript is a new open-source language from Microsoft. It adds a thin layer on top of JavaScript which makes programming JavaScript easier, faster, and more type-safe. It's simple to learn and easy to integrate into your development process. In this demo-heavy talk Rob will demonstrate its syntax, and show you easy it is to start using TypeScript. He will also share some tips & tricks to help you use it in real-world situations.
